46: Maqluba (Jordan)

For Dish 46 I tried Maqluba (makloubeh), which means ‘upside-down’ (you have to flip the dish at the end). It’s a lamb and rice dish from Jordan and popular in many parts of the Middle East. Thanks again to Aziz Abu Sarah for the suggestion. The recipe I used is from allrecipes.com – just be careful not to add too much water like I did!
